This traditional Gower family house located in the village of Reynoldston is just 20 minutes from the M4 Junction 47, Swansea and The Mumbles, and is within easy reach of all the bays of the Gower peninsula, the stunning Llangennith beach being just two miles away. For those who would like the option of exploring further afield the Pembrey Country Park, Kidwelly castle, Dan-yr-Ogof Caves and the welsh national Museums are a few of the attractions within just one hours journey by car.Located in the village of Reynoldston, surrounded by the unspoiled Gower countryside, ‘Belvedere’ is sited within its own secure gardens and with level off street parking. The house commands amazing uninterrupted views across the peninsula to Oxwich Bay and the Bristol Channel; and is on the edge of Cefn Bryn common with walks to King Arthur’s Stone. Within five minutes easy walking is the King Arthur Hotel offering a fine restaurant, bar dining and real ales. Also the village stores and Post office and the village green with historic church.The traditionally decorated spacious property is comfortably furnished with full oil fired central heating and carpeted throughout. Located on two floors, there are three bedrooms and bathroom upstairs; and a spacious lounge and dining room and kitchen downstairs.
The spacious (4m x 7.5m) high beamed living room has a feature fireplace with log burning stove (starter box provided). The living room is conveniently divided into a lounge area occupying one half and the dining area the other half. The furniture and fittings, chosen to make our guests feel at home, include in the lounge area, two three seater sofas, two armchairs, a colour television and DVD player, a bookcase with a selection of books on Gower, novels, games, , etc. In the dining area there is a dining table and six chairs.
The double bedroom is well proportioned (4m x 3.6m) and furnished in keeping with the period style of the property. Bedroom 1 has a full bedroom suite with a double bed., there is a vanity suite, a wardrobe, dresser and drawers. The room can accommodate an additional folding bed or a full size cot, which are available on request.
Bedroom 2 is similarly well proportioned (4m x 3.6m) and again furnished in keeping with the period style of the property. Bedroom 2 has full sized twin beds, again there is a vanity suite, a wardrobe, dresser and darwers. It can also accommodate either a folding bed or a full size cot, which are available on request
Bedroom 3 (4m x 3.6m) is again furnished in keeping with the period style of the property. Bedroom 3 has a double bed, a vanity suite, dresser and wardrobe.
This large kitchen is located to one side of the entrance to the cottage. It is fully fitted with quality kitchen units plus a free standing country kitchen table and six chairs. There is a gas cooker, microwave oven, refrigerator, freezer, dish washer and washing machine.. A full set of crockery, cooking utensils and cleaning products are provided.
The bathroom located at one end of the Longhouse is fitted with a full size bath and hand shower, a wash basin and toilet.
Visitors are welcome to make use of the large gardens for their leisure and relaxation. Tables and chairs are provided on the lawn area and seats are located at the quiet areas of the garden.
Visitors with pets may exercise them freely on the adjoining Cefn Bryn but we request that they keep the garden lawn areas clean.
